Maine Bear Hunts

Book a fully guided or semi-guided black bear hunt with us. We don't book more than 8 hunters per week. We want to spend all our time making sure your week of hunting will be a successful one. Our guide service isn't a production line or running lots of hunters. I've spent a lot of time selecting the right bait sites with the best chance of you seeing and harvesting a Maine bear. My bait sites have been baited every day, 30 days prior to opening season. By baiting this often, it is not uncommon for hunters to see more than one bear on a bait site.

You will be hunting from a 12 foot ladder stand or ground blind, whichever you prefer.
No one else has hunted on your site, leaving it fresh. At the end of your stay, the bait site will be discontinued and new hunters in the following week will be put into a new area. This way we don't over-harvest and keep a quality population of bears to hunt the next season.
We will provide transportation to and from the bait site, along with a comfortable stay in a camp, PLUS we will skin and quarter your bear for you at no additional cost. We can also recommend a local butcher and taxidermist if you wish. Meals are included.
